SCLEROTHERAPY
Sclerotherapy
is used to treat varicose veins which are to large to
respond appropriately to LASER therapy. During sclerotherapy
a tiny needle is used to inject a medication called
a sclerosing agent directly into the varicose vein.
The medication causes the vein to close and essentially
disappear. Many times one treatment is all that is required
but on occasion more than one treatment session may
be necessary.
